Pre-call sales lead briefs from your CRM
Every new CRM lead arrives with a one-page brief — so the first call isn't a LinkedIn tab and a guess.
Example build — representative of the kind of engagement we take on, not a named client project.
Visual coming soon
Screenshot of a brief in Slack or email — company, signals, likely pain, in one page.
The problem
First calls started from a name, a company, and five minutes of skimming.
Research was inconsistent. Some reps over-prepared, most didn’t, and nobody had time to do it for every inbound lead.
The build
A new CRM record writes the brief before the call.
A worker pulls public company context, and the Anthropic API turns it into one page — what they do, recent signals, likely pain — that lands in Slack or email.
The result
Reps open the brief instead of starting from zero.
The research still happens. It just doesn’t eat the twenty minutes before every call.
Who it's for
For a sales team whose first call starts on LinkedIn.
Founders and sales leads whose inbound record is a name and a company. Some reps over-prepare. Most do not have twenty minutes before every call. The brief is written when the lead arrives.
What it replaces
- Opening LinkedIn in the five minutes before a first call
- Inconsistent prep — a few reps over-prepare, most do not
- A CRM record that is only a name and a company
- Research that never happens on a day when the calendar is full
How it works
1. A new CRM record starts the job
The brief is written when the lead arrives, not when the rep remembers to research the company.
2. Public context becomes one page
A worker pulls public company context. The model turns it into what they do, recent signals, and likely pain — a page, not a dossier.
3. It lands where the rep already is
The brief shows up in Slack or email, attached to the lead the CRM already created.
4. The call starts from the brief
The research still happens. It does not consume the twenty minutes immediately before the meeting.

Questions teams ask
Is this a client sales deployment?
This is an example workflow. It shows how a new CRM lead becomes a one-page pre-call brief. It is not a named client project.
What is in a pre-call lead brief?
One page: what the company does, recent public signals, and the likely pain. It is written for the first call, not a full account plan.
Does a lead brief replace the CRM?
No. The CRM stays the record. A new lead triggers the brief, and the page is delivered in Slack or email before the call.
Will the brief invent facts about the lead?
It is built from public company context and should be read as a starting point for the call, not a verified dossier.
